my blog is http://mypanathinaikos.wordpress.com/
i want to make wp stats only visible to admins and not to the contributors -
As I don’t have or want contributors I’m amzed to hear that mere contributors can view stats so I can’t answer your question. I assumed that viewing stats was restricted to Admins only. Hopefully, another Volunteer will be along soon and provide an answer for you.

If another Volunteer does not have an answer for you then you will have to contact Staff.
I know that you do not have a WordPress.org install but look what I found when I searched: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/user-rights?replies=2#post-699109

I know JetPack is for WordPress.org installs but I’m wondering if the two issues could be in any way related.

I just looked on a site that has an editor – and no ability to restrict their ability to see the Stats – an editor can’t see the stats on the main dashboard page but can click onto the Stats Page.
Might want to send that to the staff as an Idea for an improvement – but I think that anyone can look at your Alexa stats and see how your blog ranks.
