how do I manually renew domain registration?

I updated my credit card, but then I got an email saying automatic renewal failed. When I finally find ‘me page (I think) it says, ‘manage my purchases’ and I click on that, but it only wants me to upgrade. it does not show ‘renew domain name’ anywhere. help!!!!!

Can you confirm which domain you need to renew?
There are no purchases associated with the account you are contacting us from (cadmiumviolet) — which is why you can’t find it on your Manage Purchases page. If you made the purchase with another account, please log in to that one and reply here.
Once you’ve done that I’ll have a look at what has happened.

The domain name is yourbrainonpandas.com which I’ve been using for my wordpress.org blog, The Panda Chronicles. The blog itself is hosted by blue host, but as I originally bought the domain name from WordPress.COM I had left it there because it would auto renew. Then my credit card expired and I couldn’t figure out where to update the new information.
I have three other blogs on the free wordpress.com platform, and I don’t use them enough to feel that upgrading is important. (also no commerce on those sites.
I am usually logged in to http://yourbrainonpandas.com (the domain I want to renew.) I can’t find a page to manage my domain purchase from. Is there one? (because it is wordpress.org) The blogs are all linked so that I can go from one to another without logging out and logging in each time, so that is why I am confused.
If I can’t get directed to the right page, it seems that my only alternative is to change my domain registration to one at blue host, since that is where the blog in question is hosted.

update, my old username notyetextinct does not work with my current wordpress.org blog. I use my email address as my username now.
again, if there is some secret page on yourbrainonpandas.com that has my renewal links, I wish you could help me find it. -

yourbrainonpandas.com was registered through WordPress.com so it can only be managed from your WordPress.com account (not by logging in your WordPress.org site).
The domain yourbrainonpandas.com was purchased by the user, notyetextinct. Are you still able to log in to that account?
If so, you can renew the domain from your Manage Purchases page, here:

If you are no longer able to log in to that account, you will need to fill out this form:
https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
