  How do i migrate from wordpress on my local machine to wordpress.com

  Hi steven,
  Simply need to use Export and Import feature in Settings..
  You need to go to your WordPress application that may be your software which you have installed on your local server then login and then find option in >”Setting” which says >”Export” and then choose what you want to export
  When you click the button below WordPress will create an XML file for you to save to your computer.
  When you come to your WordPress.com site and then login and on left hand side you see button says ” My Sites” click on it and select the site which you want to work on and Go to Settings and then you will able to see Import Another Site
  > click Start Import
  select the file which you want to Import the XML file which you downloaded during Export.

  You can use also WP-admin dashboard to Import on WordPress.com site or blog.
  For opening your WP-admin dashboard you need to type
  /wp-admin at the end of the your website address which you have created on WordPress.com
