How do I migrate my .com domain to be hosted by WordPress (I have a domain here)?

  I have registered a .com domain in GoDaddy (www.conexusproject.com). There’s no website on yet.
  So I’d like to migrate it to my WordPress domain (www.conexusproject.wordpress.com) to work with its templates and put it on.

  I usually find information the other way round.
  Could you please help me?

  To add a domain, simply log into your WordPress.com site’s dashboard, click on Store–>Domains, click “map and existing domain”, enter conexusproject.com in the box and click the “go” button. Then just follow the instructions that appear to map your domain.

  I finally found it.
  But why is WordPress charging me for that? I’ve already paid the domain, I thought WordPress was a free service…

  WordPress.com is a free service at it’s core. There is no cost to have a site here. There are optional paid upgrades that you can choose to use (or not). One of those is the options to use a custom domain. You can either register a domain with WordPress.com or use a domain you have registered elsewhere. Either option is a paid upgrade.

  Good luck finding hosting for less than $13 a year.
