How do I modify details of our RSS feed?

How do I edit my RSS feed information? We’re submitting our podcast to ITunes and some of the information came right up, but our artwork and some details were not there. The photograph displayed was actually a wordpress.com picture rather than our own.

Hi there,
WordPress.com is a multi-user blogging platform. Since all of our blogs share a common architecture, users are not able to access or edit the feed metadata. With the album art, since that requires editing the metadata, that isn’t able to be customized at this time.
As we do listen to our users, please add a suggestion to our Ideas forum asking WordPress.com to add iTunes support for podcasters: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/ideas

Whoa whoa whoa… you’re telling me there is no way to edit anything about the podcast information sent to Itunes? Some of the information Itunes has on our podcast page is missing and/or incomplete.

Unfortunately that is the case. There isn’t anything at this time which can be edited in your feed.
You may want to consider using a third-party feed solution such as Feedburner which will allow you the control which you are looking for. If you go this route however, once you have configured your new feed you will need to contact iTunes support and have them switch the feed for your site over to the Feedburner address or else they will continue to pull from the WordPress.com feed.
