How do I move a Post ?
-
I want to move a Post from where it is in the list of posts to an earlier position – how do I do this, please?
-
Hi there – The posts on your home page are organized by the date they were published. The most recent post being at the top.
To change the order, you need to manually adjust the publish date of the post you wish to move. Example: https://d.pr/v/vBcIWm
When you have a moment, let us know the title of the post you would like to move, and where you would like to move it to. We can then give you more specific instructions on what to do next.

Dear deancroyal,
Thank you SO much for your reply. As you can see, this isn’t my forte and I’m learning bit by painful bit!
This post (January 2020) was meant to be where the present January 2020 is, as it was the original which I somehow misplaced (“learning bit by painful bit”). I wanted to move it to where the present January 2020 is and then delete that January 2020.
If you could give me the steps to follow, that would be a great help and I would be most grateful to you.
Thank you so much.
Peace be with you.

Hi Allan,
If you click on the link Dean included above, it shows a video of the exact steps you need to follow.
If you prefer text, click on My Site ->Site ->Posts and find the post you wish to move. Click the three dots to the right of the post name and select Edit.
Once the editor opens, make sure the bar on the right has the “Document” tab selected. Click on Status and Visibility, and click on the date next to “Published”. Then enter the new date, and click Update at the top.
