How do I move a post to another category? I tried but it didn't work.

  When I post, I believe it’s posting on the “Home” page. Not real blog handy yet. If this is true, how can I remove a post from my page and put it in a “category?” I want to keep the post, only move it. I already edited the post and changed the category, but it didn’t move.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hey there –

  What category are you trying to place the post in? I see that the latest post is currently under the Writer’s Corner category. Is that the post you are referring to?

  Hi, the post I posted on 10/1 titled “Children”. Since this is a secondary subject, I’d like to put it under the category of “Adoption” after a few days. I went in to change it under that category and saved it, and it’s in the Adoption category, but can I move it out of the home page? Would I need to delete it from the home page? I guess I’m stymied!

  Just so you know, I’m not an expert on wordpress yet.
