how do i move a posting to a different page

  i am new to wp

  how do i move my postings … from home page … to … poems page

  or

  how do i rename … home page … to … poems page …

  There is only one page that posts will show up on and that is the main blog page. Pages you create are static and sit outside the blog structure.

  The best way to separate out your posts is to assign appropriate categories to them and make sure the categories widget is in the sidebar. Then people can click on “poems” and get a list of only the posts with the “poems” category.

  If you wished, you can also set a static front page with links to your different categories, such as poems as described in this support document: http://support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/
