How do i move followers from wordpress.com to self-hosted?
-
I recently switch to a self-hosted wordpress site(punkrockpapa.com) from a free wordpress site(punkrockpapa.wordpress.com). I was able to export everything fine except my followers. I installed jetpack but I still do not see a way to switch my followers over. Can you switch my followers over to punkrockpapa.com?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
You can transfer your WordPress.com Followers and email followers from your WordPress.com blog to your Jetpack site by following the instructions here:

That was the tutorial I attempted to follow but the migrate followers option doesn’t show up for me. Is there a way for you guys to move the followers over?

Can you grab me a screenshot showing your “settings” page where you can’t see the “migrate” option (as shown in this example: https://jetpackme.files.wordpress.com/2014/05/site_settings_e280b9_mikey_press_e28094_wordpress_com-2.jpg?w=700 )
Here are some screenshot instructions if you are not familiar with the process:
I find http://snag.gy/ to be very useful for sharing screenshots. You can also upload the screenshot to your site’s media library. I will be able to see it there.

Hi there!
Sorry the option wasn’t available — we’ve seen this come up a few times the last few days and not 100% sure of the cause. While we rectify that, I went ahead and migrated your followers from the WordPress.com site to your self-hosted site for you. :)
