How do I move my blog aramakrishnan.com from HostGator to WordPress?

  I don’t think I need HostGator anymore, since I only use very simple stuff. Can I transfer my domain from HostGator to WordPress?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello!

  While WordPress does not allow the transfer of domains
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/
  they do allow the mapping of a domain
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
  The upgrade is 13 dollars per year.
  You will need to point your HostGator’s Domain Name Servers to the following:

  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  You may need to wait 72 hours for everything to populate and you may need to clear your browser’s cache.
  You will also need to update your primary domain in the My Domains Page

  If you have email you will need DNS or MX records
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/custom-dns/
