How do I move my posts onto a fixed page?
-
My posts are on a page called Events. I want to move them onto a fixed page called Events 2013-2014 and start a new posts page for next year’s events. This is a school site and the new year starts in September.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Posts cannot exist on separate pages.
Instead, leverage your categories and category archive pages, like http://stvincntbhamschuk.wordpress.com/category/events/
Maybe re-name that Events category to 2013 Events, then continue to report new events on the Events page? :)

So, all of your posts are now under the “Events” category.
Head over to Posts -> Categories in your blog’s Dashboard and re-name that category to “Events 2013-2014”
Now, go to http://stvincntbhamschuk.wordpress.com/2014/07/21/year-6-leavers-play-go-for-goals/ and look at the bottom for “This entry was posted in Events 2013-2014 on July 21, 2014.”
That link on “Events 2013-2014” is the category archive for all post’s categorized “Events 2013-2014”.
At Appearance -> Menus in your blog’s Dashboard, you can even add the category “Events 2013-2014” to your menu.
Now that that’s all done, head back to Posts -> Categories in your blog’s Dashboard and create a new category called “Events 2014 – 2015” (or whichever the next block is) and start categorizing your new events as that. :)
