How do I move my wordpress.com blog to a godaddy site?

  Hi:

  I am wanting to move my wordpress.com blog to a godaddy hosted website. I have downloaded wordpress onto the godaddy site. I need to know how to safely move my blog content from its present location on wordpress.com, to my new site. Can I use the Export option?? Or do I need a plug in so I can save the content and then upload into the new site?

  Please let me know the best way to do this, and exactly how I go about it.
