How do I move or remove the search bar for the Stay theme?
-
I don’t like the search bar on the left hand side. There are pages/posts I would like to remove it from all together. When I go to my widgets I can’t remove/move. How do I remove or move this search bar?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
In the Stay theme you’re using, the Search Widget is added by default to the sidebar on your posts and pages. (Your posts also, by default, have the Archives Widget and the Meta Widget in the sidebar.)
To remove those default widgets, you just need to add a different widget (any widget you’d like) to the sidebar widget areas. You can add and change your sidebar widgets under Appearance > Widgets in your site’s dashboard.
The left sidebar you see on pages like your About page is the Primary Sidebar, and the right sidebar you see on posts like the Front Page Picture Gallery post is the Blog Primary Sidebar. If you don’t want to have any widgets in the sidebar (you just want to remove the search bar), you can add a Text Widget to the sidebar and just leave it blank. That will remove the default search widget from the sidebar.
Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)
