How do I move posts from sticky to "more articles?"

  Since I now have more than six posts I want in my slider, I want to move some down into “more articles.” However, when I uncheck sticky and add a smaller sized featured image it just disappears from my page (unless I go to “blog posts.”

  How can I get them to show up on the home page in “more articles?”

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
