How do I move widget to side?

Hi Iv been having problems with my main site page and how to rearrange widgets and links. It always goes to the bottom and id like to change this. Iv been in customise and just cant see what I need to do. Any help is gratefully appreciated.

Hi there,
Where you can place widgets and the site menu is determined by your theme. It’s not possible to just move them anywhere you want them to appear.
Your current theme, Radcliffe, only allows widgets in the footer. If you want to be able to place widgets along the side you’ll need to change to a theme that allows sidebar widgets instead.
