how do I navigate between blogs

  How do I get to another person’s blog when I am logged into my own blog? When I type something like otherblog.wordpress.com in the address bar IE address bar, it just kicks back to my own blog.

  I don’t know why IE does that to you. It behaves for me, but that’s not denying you have an issue I can’t solve.

  However…other wordpress.com blogs can easily be read through the blog surfer feature on your dashboard. It only works with our blogs, but all you have to do is enter the url and it’s, basically, a feed reader.

  You might be trying to read a private blog.

  Bingo, raincoaster. With my usual firm grasp of the obvious, I totally missed the obvious.

  However, blog surfer can be used with private blogs too, at least according to the info on top. All the blogs I read that way are public, so I can’t swear to it. Good feature, though.

  Yup, as raincoaster describes that’s the behaviour you’ll encounter if you try to read a private blog that you have not been given access too.

  Just to confirm, you are able to reach http://hanni.wordpress.com for example?
