How do I obtain my api key?

    I registered on WordPress.com to obtain an API Key so I could insert it into my WordPress.com Stats plugin. I’ve followed exact instructions as given by your site, and none of them led me to my API Key. Upon trying to find it in my Profile page, I click the link saying “Were you looking for your API Key and other Personal Settings?” and have searched the page that the link leads me to, and can find nothing. I’ve searched support and the forums and can find no help. I really need this API Key as soon as possible! Thanks.

    API keys are actually no longer included with WordPress.com accounts, and the Stats plugin is no longer under active development.

    Instead, please try Jetpack: http://jetpack.me/

    It includes the same stats module, and no API key is required.
