How do I only have previews of articles on my front page? I can't figure it out!

I can’t figure out how to only have snippets of my articles on the front page instead of the entire article
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I assume the snippets will be something like excerpts. From blog post, click on Screen Options in upper right corner of page and check Excerpts or whichever feature that may help with this. After checking Excerpts, a box should appear at bottom of page.

Uh, no. Use a theme that does this automatically OR use the More tag.

Don’t have to be a smart ass about it. Apparently, there is more than one way to do a similar thing. But, it is up to chuckdaly.

Excerpts have no effect on this. Don’t answer questions if you only kinda sorta think you know the answer.

It has the same the effects. Read the Writing and Editing Support pages more often. The More Tag will still need to be applied after an excerpt.
By the way, I don’t “kinda sorta think.” I KNOW IT!

FYI makethea isn’t quite as familiar with the Support documents as I am, regardless of how self-assured she is.
