how do I only show a summary of posts on my home page

  I tried going to settings and reading to only show a summary of my posts on my home page. But it still shows the entire post. How can I just show a summary of the posts on my homepage instead of the entire post?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  In order to create summarized posts on your home page, you can use the More tag.
