How do I own my identity

I am trying to figure out how to login on ecwid control panel using the wordpress id that I created. My account email was verified, but when I enter my Login I get the message You do not own that identity.
How do I login? -
You need to log-in under the same username account that created the blog in question. When we register a username account here the email address we provide becomes our unique identifier. When we are logged into WordPress.com and register a blog it’s registered to that username account we are logged in under and to the email address which is our unique identifier. We can register as many blogs as we wish and provided we are using the same username account then all the blogs will be registered under it and the associated email account.

You might be in the wrong forum – what is the URL of the blog you are having trouble with?

I just found thisecwid.wordpress.com is no longer available.
The authors have deleted this blog.@crippledfrog
You deleted the blog. There is no recycling of deleted blog URLS here at wordpress.com.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/delete-blog/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/You can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Or you can purchase a domain name via a domain mapping upgrade as in that case it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.

Morning @TT – yes the old delete the blog trick –
ecwid is also some sort of shopping cart application and maybe a Plug-in
-
Oh really? Well, in that case, I’d better post this:
@crippledfrog
There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and we cannot install individual plugins or third party themes into them. Those found on the internet are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/
No blogger initiated advertising, retailing or reselling the work or products created or services provided by anyone other than yourself is allowed on free hosted wordpress.COM blogs. E-commerce transactions via shopping carts and the like cannot be conducted on free blogs from and being free hosted by wordpress.COM. WordPress.ORG is different. You can hire a web host and set up your own self hosted WordPress.org install from http://wordpress.org/ if you want an ecomnerce set up. -
I think you misunderstood the original question and then, from there, made an incorrect assumption that his blog was ecwid.wordpress.com
His blog has nothing to do with this problem. The problem is with wordpress login itself.
The original question is regarding the ecwid wordpress plugin. It’s a shopping cart plugin. In order to use it, you are supposed to log into their (ecwid’s) website by using your wordpress login.
Whew..this is getting confusing, but follow along for a few more seconds.
The problem with trying to use the wordpress login on the ecwid site is that you get a “You do not own that identity” error.
Sooooo, does anyone know why he, and others, get that error when we definitely DO own our wordpress identity?

We need the URL of the blog in question to give you accurate help

It’s pretty obvious, is it not? You get that message because that shopping cart plugin cannot be used with WordPress.com identities. At all. Ever.
