How do I password protect a page but make viewable to non WP with Password
-
Is there a way to password protect a page but allow Non WordPress members to have password and view the page….can’t find a way around this as its only allowing WP account holders to view.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
Yes, you should be able to do this. I have several sites that are set up that way.
Have you followed these steps:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-visibility/If you’re wanting to do the same for a post here is the info:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/One thing you need to note is if this page is “hidden” i.e. you don’t have it showing in one of your menus or as a link from another location, you will also have to provide them with the exact URL so they can “find” it.
Hope that helps!

Thanks Mindy
eventually sorted it out but had to resort to the galleries being shown on the wild swim pages…thought i could work with it separately but the viewer needed to be an account holder to be able to use password which wasn’t what i wanted.
Cheers
