How do I paste text from My Documents into my blog?

  I wish to paste a prepared amount of text into my blog by copying it from “My Documents” but don’t know how to do this.

  Go to Settings > Writing and select “ ___ WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” and then scroll down and click “Save Changes.”
