I want to re-up for another year. Do I pay a year at a time? My daughter started this out, but she doesn’t have time now. i want to make sure I don’t lose my blog…HOW DO I PAY FOR THE NEXT YEAR?

Look under Dashboard >> Store >> My Upgrades for your upgrades
Note: You must be logged in as the original account to see the upgrades – your daughter can transfer the upgrades to you if you want – she can log-in here and request the upgrades to be transferred if you want –
The owner of an upgrade is sent several emails starting about 60 days before an upgrade expires – if you have automatic renewal on then upgrades renew 30 days before they expire – this is to give time to correct any problems that might happen so that you don’t have a break in service

My year will be up towards the end of this month (January). She says she hasn’t gotten any reminders and neither have I (to my knowledge) Is it possible I’ve mistaken a wordpress promo for an upgrade? Possibly.

If your daughter had auto renew turned on – there is a chance that things did renew and the email got caught in your spam filter –

It looks like your domain auto renewed at the end of December. The new expiration date is January 30, 2014.
Although this year’s renewal was automatic, auto renewal is now showing as disabled. This means next year your daughter will either need to renew on your behalf or she will need to transfer the upgrade to you (http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/).

Thanks so much for checking on this. My daughter transferred the domain to my email so I’ll get the upgrade notices next year.
