How do I place separate header images for each page in my Twenty Ten theme?
-
Have the twenty ten theme and have created four pages. I like four of the six header images options that come with this theme and would like to use a different one on each page. Want each header image I choose to remain with the specific page, not random. Is this possible?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You have to set them as featured images > http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/#setting-a-featured-imageIf you don’t see the Featured Image module on your Add New or Edit Post page, please make sure you’ve selected Featured Image in your Screen Options. http://en.support.wordpress.com/screen-options

Please consult the theme description http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/twentyten/
Go to > Appearance > Widgets
Do know that widgets on every page in the blog is going the way of the do do bird. Old themes have that but newer themes do not. Every theme has a default display of widgets and when we select our own widgets, click to open. configure where required, click “save”, click”close” we override the default display. -
Thank you timethief for your two replies. Seperate images on each page is resolved. Sidebar not visible in not resolved. Michaelg

Choosing a Page Template
One and two-column templates
By default, Twenty Ten uses a two-column layout with lots of room for widgets. If you’d like to hide the widgets and focus on the writing for a particular page, just choose the “One column, no sidebar” template.
http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/twentyten/Edit the Pages and choose “Default Template” instead.
Pages > All Pages >
Click “Title” to select ALL Pages or click the checkboxes on the left to select the ones you want a sidebar on
Bulk Actions click and select “Edit”
Locate Template and select “Default Template”
http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/edit-pages-screen/#bulk-editSome widgets have visibility settings and you can use them to exclude visibility on a certain page. example > http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/categories-widget/#visibility
If the widgets do not display then you need to open each one and see what the Visibility settings are in each one and adjust them, click “save” and click “close”.

Thanks again timethief, I suspected it was a visibility setting issue. Will do trial and error until I get the right visibility setting .. or .. you can suggest what setting automatically allows my widget(s) to be visible. Michaelg, Vancouver, B.C.
