How do I place the "Follow me on Pinterest" button and where do I find it?
-
I have seen other blogs with the “Follow me on Pinterest” button? I have a Pinterest account. I have tried to do this by going to settings and then clicking on ” social media”. It hasn’t worked so far. Any suggestions?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey,
for this you will need to use Widgets. You access Widgets by going to your Admin Dashboard. You can then go to Theme -> Widgets.
From here pick a widget called “Text” and drag it to the sidebar you would like to have it on.
http://business.pinterest.com/widget-builder/#do_follow_me_button
There you can pick the image for “Follow Me”. As far as I know WordPress.com doesn’t allow JavaScript to be loaded, so you will need to use simple html.
<img src="IMAGE OF THE PINTEREST FOLLOW BUTTON" width="80" height="80" border="0" />
I hope this helps, if it was something else you were looking for, sorry and let me know.

You can capture an image and upload it, link to it and display it in a text widget. I have done this here in the text widget at the top of my sidebar http://thistimethisspace.com/
For creating links in a text widget see:

NOTE http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/text-widget/#adding-an-imageYou can upload image files by clicking the Add Media button right above the editing area of a page or a post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/add-media/
You can also upload new files to your Media Library using Media → Add New. http://support.wordpress.com/media/media-add-new
