How do I post????????

I need to post something on a class blog before 5 and I have no idea how to do that… PLEASE HELP!

You did not specify a blog address or reason for posting when you created this topic.
This support forum is for WordPress.com hosted blogs only. If you have a self-hosted WordPress blog you need to seek help at the WordPress.org forums, not here.
If you don’t understand the difference, you may find this information helpful.

What does that mean? I’m sorry. I really have no idea how to use this… It says I’m subsrcibed to this blog: lsu2202spring09. I just have no idea how to post anything on it.

Honestly, I don’t know if that is even the correct lingo. It is a public blog for a class. When I go to blog surfer it lists that blog as a public one that I am “Already Subscribed” to. I can comment on other people’s postings but can post on my own, which is the problem. I don’t really know if the author of the blog, my professor, made me a contributer or not or if he even had to do that.

Please go to the blog’s front page, copy the url that appears in your browser, and paste it here.
Have you tried contacting your prof? (And I hope you’re not in the Eastern time zone…)

If the blog owner has not set you up as an author or contributor, you cannot put posts on the blog. “Subscribed” in tag surfer only means that you have subscribed to that particular blog. Blogsurfer simply makes it easier for you to keep track of the blogs that you want to follow. It keeps them all in one place.

Well, then how do I get him to subscribe me? Is there a way I can request to join the blog or do i need to ask him in person?
-

Can you ask someone who has posted? I see a lot of names and, unfortunately, a lot of fonts and justifications. Pasting from Word is not a good idea and there’s information in the FAQ/Support docs about that.
But that’s not your problem now. When you are at the blog and see your WordPress navigation bar at the top of your screen, have you tried clicking on New Post to see if you’ve been added for access? Do you have a New Post option?

With only 35 minutes left, you can always put your post in the comments section of another post, with a short explanation. Better to do it that way than to blow your deadline.
-
-
Then you better post it as a comment to another post.
Still can’t reach the prof? No cell, email, twitter?
-
No, he isn’t my biggest fan. This was supposed to be my “blow off course” of the semester… I guess I’ll just post it as a comment and pray that he has some sympathy. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
