How do I post images to show up on my home page?

On Triton lite how do I make an image appear on my home page? I have my header in place I want to load up images like the tempate has though, they are interspersed with the posts?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You log in at bonjourashleyjane.wordpress.com/wp-admin then add or edit a page or a post. Look for the button to Add Media — that will let you browse to an image on your computer and upload it to your site.

thanks Edwin, I tried that but when i Publish it it comes up with the Title of the image on my home page and then i have to click on that to pull up the image, can I simply have the image on my home page not the title? it will be real simple I’m sure but I can’t find the correct option!

Have you taken a look through the Themes forum for information about Triton Lite? It could well be one of those configurable themes that relies on Featured Images, etc.
