How do I prevent a post from automatically appearing onto my site's homepage?
-
I want to control whether a post appears on my site’s homepage widget. It automatically pulls the most recent posts, and I’d like to have the ability to make exceptions.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello there,
Go to the footer of your theme please and note this
Powered by WordPress.com VIP http://vip.wordpress.com/
You are posting to the wrong support forum. This one is only for free hosted WordPress.com blogs. Somewhere in your dashboard will be a link for the correct support forum. I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting. -
I believe you can post your question at https://wordpressvip.zendesk.com/ But post again here if you have trouble posting in that forum.

The VIP program has direct support, your company should have a point of contact that is already qualified to directly contact the VIP support desk.
Ask your company who that person is, the entry requirements used to require you to have a WordPress Guru that is world class, on your staff, they should also be able to help you

I saw the link – it requires an existing account to log in – my reading of the VIP program (and there are pages and pages of it) – they do restrict who can directly contact the VIP program for assistance, thus my suggestion to see who the contacts in the company are that are already vetted
