How do I prevent post title displaying over banner, Bushwick theme?
-
I’m using the Bushwick theme for a collaborative blog. The only issue we’re having is that when you click on an individual blog post, the title of the post suddenly is moved to the left, over the banner image instead of at the top of the post. This is an issue because the title gets lost for the reader, and the title overlaps the design of our banner image (which contains text in the form of the name of the blog and our affiliation). We’re considering asking for financial support to upgrade the blog so that we can customize it, but I don’t know if it’s possible to change this element in the Bushwick theme with a Pro account or not.
Any help much appreciated!

It is the design of the theme to display the post title at 66 px on the header image. But you have some text on the header image as well, which is mixing up with the post title, especially with long post titles.
I reduced the size of the post title by half to 33 px and the result is: https://cloudup.com/c4F8cqfX5yY
But you will have to purchase Custom Design upgrade to be able to implement the styles.

Thanks very much! That may be the simplest solution for us. I just switched from an old laptop with a 4:3 screen to a Macbook, and was horrified to see how the titles are displaying on a widescreen…
