How do I prevent readers from downloading my photos?

  How do I keep people from saving my photos from my blog? As far as I can tell, they can right click the photos on my blog and save them. Although I’ve put a copyright mark on all of them, it’d still be nice to prevent people from downloading my photos at all.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Susan,

  Unfortunately, considering the nature of publishing on the internet this would be very difficult. It’s not possible to make images un-downloadable, but even if it were possible, anyone can still take a screenshot of the photos and save it.

  However, it’s against the law in the United States and in many other countries to reproduce text or images created by someone else without their permission, so if you find this is happening on WordPress.com please let us know and we’d be happy to take care of it.
