How do I prevent unwanted Referrer attention from business-based search bots?

    Happy New Year:)

    I have a blog that I use to provide supplemental information about our property that we have for sale.

    I’ve been noticing that under the “Referrers” section that I’m getting hits from sites such as:
    ‘simple-transfer.bz.cm’ (something about tennis) and ‘busy-body.bz.cm’ (blank screen – doesn’t even say what it is).

    Obviously, these are not genuine hits. My guess is that somebody’s online search ‘bot is making a nuisance of itself.

    I’m just a little pissed at this state of affairs as my site statistics are becoming more skewed (and less representative of genuine interest) as time goes by.

    My question is this:
    Is there any way to deny these automated business-based search bots from accessing my blog?

    We do our best to filter out referrer spam, but new ones seem to pop up daily.
