How do I prevent/remove the ad links from sales charger in my text? I did not put them there.
-
Today, when my blog came up on time, many of the words in the text were turned into hyperlinks to ads from sales charger. I did not put them there. I know that my readers see advertising around the blog, but this amounts to hijacking my content! How do I remove those links and how do I prevent this kind of hijacking?

Followup. This problem also appeared in content on Facebook and another site, so I began to suspect that sales charger has loaded something onto my computer. Meanwhile, the annoying hyperlinks seem to have disappeared from the content of my blog. Whatever it is, it’s not a WordPress problem.

Conclusion. Some malicious agent installed Sale Charger on my computer. I just uninstalled it.

Hi there!
I’m glad you were able to find and remove the cause of the ad links on your browser. The sort of ads that you described, aren’t ones that WordPress.com would insert into your blog and adware would usually be to blame. For some tips to prevent such adware in the future, I’d recommend the following article from Norton:

Let me know if there’s any other questions I can assist with.
