I am anxious to know the answer too.
Just starting out on WordPress. I am able to preview an individual post but NOT how blog will appear after I publish several draft posts, trying to avoid having to go back and edit after publishing.
I don’t understand why there is no easy to find preview button like Google has.

In the page and post editor, in the “publish” module, when you are writing an post, there will be a save, preview and publish button. You can preview the post at anytime while you are writing it and what you will see is the single post page. Once you are happy with the post, you can click the publish button and it will then appear on your site. It will not appear until you publish it.

This site is a great place to learn the WordPress basics and covers just about everything you will need to know to get yourself going and publishing posts.

Yes, thescaredpath I was able to preview individual posts but I could not preview or even see the home page until I published the first post. I am using Hatch theme.
Although I don’t know which themes they are using I think that is the frustration with the two above, nowhere can the home page ever be previewed. Unless we are missing something that is just an oversight and is weird.

You need to put content to preview what your site will look like – either real content or the fake word stuff – once you have some content then the theme preview in your dashboard will show the theme look with your content – or you can create a test blog and hide it – but you still need to put content to see how it will look no matter what you do

auxclass, I understand and figured that out.
It’s just weird that you can not preview the home page once you have entered content but BEFORE you publish. It’s a simple button. WordPress could easily add it.
Google blogger has that ability, I can see how the post and any pages will look in context to the whole blog in preview and BEFORE I publish.
I came to WordPress because Google does not have any real grid layout.

    Yes
    The same as djt2013
I put content in as text and image. I then did a preview then pressed published. I even edited the post and then pressed publish.
But STILL I cannot find how to look at the Front Page of the blog itself where the post should be??
    PLEASE PLEASE someone help!
