How do I properly transfer my WIX SITE to WordPress?

    How do I transfer my original blog & its layout into the WordPress site? Here is my wix blog website: https://ebonyro1.wixsite.com/ebonynikita. I tried transferring it months ago, but I don’t understand why it’s not in the same layout as my wix site. Also editing on WordPress seems much more difficult. How do I make the WordPress site exactly like the wix site?

    Hi there,

    A site’s layout is determined by its theme, and themes are specific to the platform they’re created for. In other words, it’s not possible to use a theme built for Wix, on another platform like WordPress or Blogger, and vice versa.

    So you can transfer your content (posts, pages) from your Wix site to your WordPress.com site using our Wix importer, but you cannot transfer the layout/design, as that’s not compatible with our software.

    Please have a look at our WordPress.com themes instead at Appearance ->Themes in the dashboard. If you find one that’s very close to your design on Wix you can then even try customizing it using custom CSS code to get it even closer, though that would require our Premium Plan.
