How do I publish a backdated post without sending an email to subscribers?

    I’m transferring my PAGES to POSTS chronologically because I want to change the layout of my blog. BUT each time I create a POST from an old PAGE, schedule to back date it, it appears in the right place but still sends an email to my subscribers.
    How do I NOT send an email to them when I do this for backdated posts?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi!

    I am not sure whether this would work or not, but it might be worth a shot :)

    Make visibility Private on a post when you publish it and then after it’s published, switch its visibility to Public.

    Let me know if it worked :)
