How do I publish on my blog by sending an email

  Hi,
  I would like to publish articles by sending an email, or may be by making an http connection. How can one do it. I am sure there has to be a way as scribefire does this for you.

  The various steps that might be needed for publishing would be

  1) Sending the post
  2) adding category and tags to it.

  Any help will be appreciated.

  Currently there is not something in place to post articles through email. If you are on a mobile browser you can post through http://m.wordpress.com though.

  Why not register and try it. I’ve seen lots of WP.com blogs using it.

  I am using scribefire, my question was if something like scribefire can do that, I should be able to do it by myself instead of using scribefire, sharing my password with them.

  I think there is no way to post via email. I have found a php program to send through xml-rpc

  This is all that prevents me from fully switching to WordPress. Can any admin shed light on the why? Will email/sms/mms posts be an option at some point perhaps?
