How do I purchase my theme so I can customize more?
-
I cannot figure out how to buy my Suburbia theme so I have more customizing options. You’d think they would make buying something easy. I can try sample fonts, and then have the option to purchase to save them — but then it just shows “saving changes…” endlessly and never gets anywhere. Under customize design, it says the theme is $30 (or, helpfully, $0.08/day). And there is an option there to click on “upgrade.” But when I click on this, I am upgrading to Pro for $99. All I want is the theme!

What you need to purchase is the custom design upgrade to do any CSS editing. http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/
Important note: You must be logged in under the exact same username account that registered the blog to purchase the upgrade for the blog here > Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades -
Suburbia is a free theme, so I’m assuming you’re looking to purchase the Custom Design upgrade. In your admin dashboard, go to Store and select the “buy now” option under the Custom Design heading.

Hi there,
As I multitask form work my answers are often in more than one comments box. That’s because I have to answer phones or respond to people, or equipment, etc. When I post once into a thread and you think I missed something wait a few minutes, okay? lol :D
P.S. Thanks for helping. -
That makes perfect sense. However, when I do that, it still tells me I owe $99, despite that the cost for the theme is $30. StoreCustom Design$30 — I click on Buy Now. It says I owe $99.

Eh, just got it. For some reason, I had to remove the bundled product from my cart — though I didn’t know I’d put it there. Then it works! Thanks all!

@ttts: I think I started replying before your first post, but I’ll keep that in mind. When replies collide. ;)
@jos: I was about to suggest you check the cart, glad you got it worked out. Happy blogging.
