How do I put a copyright notice in the footer using CSS?
-
Hi,
I have the Skylark theme. I tried to add a footer using the indications below (see below) but it doesn’t work because it doesn’t go to the footer. Instead, it stays as a widget in the sidebar. What should I do?
1 first:
Acess Admin Panel, click em Design > Widgets
Add widget contain this:<div CLASS=”copyright”>Copyright BLOG NAME © 2008/2009. All rights reserved.</div>
And save.
Now, click in Edit Css and add this:#footer.copyright{
font-size:11px;
color:black;
bottom:-2px;
}
And save ^^https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/adding-copyright-to-blog?replies=20
Thanks for your help.

All WordPress.com bloggers are required to maintain the credit links, even our VIP bloggers. Please do not hide or alter text or links for the footer credits or the toolbar. Modifying the style of the footer text (i.e. colors and font size) is fine as long as it’s still readable.
You could use a Text Widget to place a copyright notice in your sidebar instead: http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/text-widget
Please let us know if you need any further assistance!

Already know of sidebar option.
Still looking for answer to original question, re placing copyright on bottom of home page.
Thanks in advance for information.
