I’m using the Mystique theme (& I have the upgrade to CSS). I’m trying to put an image on my hearder just to the left of the title. The URL of the image is: http://mobilejewishfederation.files.wordpress.com/2011/08/majf7-e1314042108275.jpg
Can anyone help, please?
Thanks, in advance.

Give this a try. I took the liberty of getting rid of the border line at the right end of the site title. If you want to keep it, just remove the border-right line from the following. Paste this into your CSS at the very bottom below any other CSS you have in the CSS edit window.
#branding #logo { background: url("http://mobilejewishfederation.files.wordpress.com/2011/08/majf7-e1314042108275.jpg") no-repeat scroll 0 0 transparent; border-right: medium none; height: 105px; padding-left: 120px; } -
Great! Before I try that I have a question. Is there a separate CSS edit window for the header?
I also need to get rid of the “Categories” and “Go” sections.
Thanks!

There is just one CSS editing window.
If you do not want the sidebar at all, go to appearance > theme options and select the one-column, no sidebar layout option.

Excellent information thesacredpath! Once I found this post everything fell into place. I am using the Headlines theme and couldn’t get exactly what I wanted. However, using the code you provided I now have our logo right next to the title where I want it. Thank you.
