How do I put a table full of thumbnails in a webpage or post?

  I want to create a webpage for an artist that includes a table of thumbnail pictures that arranges her paintings into thumbnails that can then be clicked on for a bigger view. How do I do this?

  That’s the Gallery function. Some themes have built in Gallery post styles. http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/
