How do I put an hCard on my Contact page?
-
If I add a Contact page to my WordPress.com blog, can I insert an hCard (with an accompanying “Add to address book” button or text link) after the form on that page?
I know that instead of using email most users prefer the convenience of using a simple form to contact a blog’s author. However, some of those users may also wish to add detailed author information to their address books. If that information (first name, middle name or initial, last name, nickname, email address, postal address, even the author’s photo… just to name a few elements) is contained within an hCard, its importation into an address book could be as simple as clicking a button. Without an hCard it could be a tedious copy and paste procedure, depending on the amount of information to be transferred.
There are other benefits to having an hCard that I won’t go into now. Suffice it to say, hCards (and a host of other microformats) are becoming quite popular.

On weekdays and during Support hours you can make this feature request to staff http://wordpress.com/contact-support/

Thanks, thistimethisspace
They told me hCards are not supported yet (which implies they will be in the future).
At any rate, until then, I can still go ahead and put a functional “Add me to your address book” link on the page. For the time being, the hCard will simply have to reside at a separate domain.
Cheers
