How do I put certain posts to my categories?
-
I create posts but then I want them to show up on the sections in the navigation menu: for example, a post I made a bout pre essential items, I want it to show up under the “budgets” section. How do I do that? I understand the sticky note item to show it on the main page, but I want to reader to be able to click on the budgets section and see the same post there.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
1. “Budgets” category page — https://thesometimessolosoul.travel.blog/category/budgets/
2. “Budgets” static page, linked to in the menu – https://thesometimessolosoul.travel.blog/budgets/
Your “category” menu items aren’t linked to the corresponding category pages. Instead they are linked to static pages. I’d suggest that you replace the static page links in the menu with category page links. How to do so is described in the Category Pages & Menus section of the Categories support page.
I want it to show up under the “budgets” section.
Changing the top-level menu items to links to category pages as I suggested above is what I recommend but it’s not essential. Whether the top-level menu items link to static pages or to category pages matters not at all regarding drop-down items that fall below the top-level items in menu.
Drop-down items must be added and arranged manually. How to add a menut item is described in the Add Menu Items section of the Custom Menus support page. How to arrange menu items below another item in a drop-down menu is described and illustrated in the Reorder Menu Items & Add Drop-Down Menus section of that support page.
