How do I put comment box on sidebar

  I want to put a comment box on the side bar of my site. Or a chat box.
  I want to make it so people can talk to each other. But I don’t want a chat room like mebo.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Then you don’t have any options. We don’t have a comments widget here.

  On one of my sites I use a Text widget to get around the limitation raincoaster mentioned. The Text Widget says “Leave your General Comments Here” and the click on link goes to a Post that is just for General Comments. The Widget is at the top of my sidebar.

  Sort of clunky but works for me.
