how do i put extra spaces between paragraphs?

  i am unable to get the spacing i want, whether using visual or txt ed.

  Hi there. You need to add the html code for an extra line space into the text editor. Simply pressing return won’t do it. See here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/advanced-html/#extra-line-breaks

  thank you – I’d nearly got there, but hadn’t realised that going from txt to visual ed. removed the code !!!!!
