    How do I put Google Analytics code on our blog?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    WordPress.com does not currently support Google Analytics tracking. However, we do offer built-in statistics showing you most of the same types of information as Google Analytics would display.

    You can view your site’s stats by clicking the stats link in the grey admin bar at the top of your site. To find out more about how stats are measured and reported, see the following help page:

    You can also install Google Webmaster Tools, which contains some of the same functions as Google Analytics:

    Thank you, that’s such a shame. I would like to compare it to the rest of the website’s Analytics at the same time.

    If this is a necessity for you, it might be best to move to self-hosted, WordPress.org. To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities. At WordPress.com, we provide hosting, support, and tons of features for blogs. Users also have the option to purchase a variety of upgrades to customize the look and feel of their blog. WordPress.org is a software for self-hosted sites. With WordPress.org, users are provided access to all backend files and can upload custom themes and plugins.
