How do I raise the hight of column one in the soundcheck theme.

Hello. How do I raise the hight of column one in the soundcheck theme as pictured in original soundcheck demo theme? http://soundcheckdemo.wordpress.com/ – the left column (the audio player is at the top) is raised higher than the other columns – this option was one of my requirements when buying the theme. If I can’t do this then can I get a refund? Thanks for your help.

Hi there!
That height is adjusted automatically when you add the Soundcheck Audio Player widget to the top of a sidebar widget area.
That widget is specific only to the Soundcheck theme. You can add it to your site here:

Scroll down and click on “Soundcheck Audio Player.”
However, this widget only pulls audio files from posts that use the Audio post format. The Audio post format requires .mp3 type files to play correctly. In order to upload .mp3 files, you must have the Premium plan.
So if proper use of that widget was the main reason you purchased Soundcheck, I’d be happy to cancel and refund that purchase if the extra cost is a problem.

Hi Alex. Thanks for the info and quick reply. That’s a bummer – I don’t suppose I can pay a one time only fee to get more features like this instead of the yearly fee? Failing that is there anyway I can buy this theme to use with a wordpress.org blog (bypassing premium restrictions) as a one time payment?

Right now Soundcheck is only readily available on WordPress.com. The designer does say you can contact him directly if you’re interested in getting the .org version:

Sorry, we only offer the space upgrade for audio and video files as part of the Premium plan, which is an annual fee.
