How do I re-coonect to Facebook and change my Home tab to say Blog instead?
-
Hi. I have given it a good long try, but I can’t seem to find out why my blog won’t update to my Facebook account. It used to and I am following the directions to try to enable it. I also check my FB account and it does show WordPress connected. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?
Second quick question: How do I change the Home tab to now say Blog instead? It doesn’t show up in the list of pages ( I created a website format). Thanks for your help!
Tracy

1. Try flushing your FB cache but disconnect from FB first http://umairj.com/146/how-to-clear-facebook-shares-cache/
2. Try the full reconnect procedure again detailed at http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-facebook including step 3 (removing the FB app), which is probably the most important step.
3. See also publicize troubleshooting http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#troubleshooting
Note: RSS Grafitti http://www.facebook.com/RSS.Graffiti can be used for posting to Facebook walls if you prefer. RSS Graffiti periodically checks the RSS/Atom feeds that you specify and posts any new entries it finds to the Facebook Walls that you specify. You can get any feed written on any wall (Facebook Profiles, Fan Pages, Groups, Events and Application Profile Pages). In fact, multiple feeds to multiple walls. You choose the combination.

Create a cusom menu and add the ready made Home link into it.

There are many common errors, misunderstandings and misconceptions when creating custom menus and you can read about them here. > http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2011/12/19/custom-menus/ -

SIGH … I’m seem to be having a bad day. If you want to create a static front page read what follows please.
The front page of the blog by default will display your posts (not pages) in reverse chronological order, with the most recently published post on top. If you do not want all the posts to show on the front page, then you can create a static front page called for example “Welcome” for your site and a “Blog” page for posts.
To do that create two pages > http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/ After you do that you go to > Settings > Reading and make the designation change and click “save changes”.
