How do I re-enable a deleted wordpress domain?

  I need to enable an old domain I registered and deleted within my WordPress account. When I try and create a new blog using the initial domain it tells me the domain has been taken yet I deleted it ages ago.

  When I search for the blog online to check if someone else has taken it, it comes up with a page saying that the site has been deleted.

  Hi,

  Once you delete a site, you can’t use it anymore.

  Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to reuse its WordPress.com address (such as yourgroovysite.wordpress.com).
