How do I re-register the site I paid for from .com to .net?
-
I accidentally registered my site as .com, when it needed to be .net [www.picturedetroit.net]. The site does not exist yet, but I’ve paid $99 for it. How do I switch from the .com to .net version?

Hi there,
After looking into your account, I found that you recently removed the domain mapping for: picturedetroit.com. Have you purchase picturedetroit.net from another registrar? If you did, then you just need to map that using these instructions:
Please go to your domain registrar’s site and log into the control panel. You will need to update the name servers as below:
- NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
- NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
- NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
For more information, please visit the help documentation provided by the registrar and our support page:

If you did not purchase the domain yet, you can buy it through us if it’s still available with this support guide:
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
