How do I reach actual WordPress.com customer service

  I want to contact someone from the company and instead it only allows me to post on forums. Forums cannot help answering the specifics of my account issues

  If you are on the free plan, you won’t be able to chat with a live person, but instead post your questions in the forum. If yo upgrade to the Personal, Premium, or Business Plan(s), you’ll have live chat, and email support at the tip of your fingers.

  realsimpleway is right. To add on the top of their message, you can reach WordPress.com Happiness Engineers if you are on the non-free WordPress.com plan here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/

  If you are on the free WordPress.com plan, you will have to post only on the WordPress.com community forums like you do now and Happiness Engineers will take over the thread if volunteers’ assistance is not enough.

  I just deleted my upgraded plan, unfortunately. I didn’t think anyone would even respond to questions on the forum so thank you for the replies!

  My issue is that my domain name that I purchased through WordPress.com is now locked since I deleted my website. I am hoping to get the domain mapped to a different host (I switched to WordPress.org hosted by SiteGround).

  Since it’s a specific request, I don’t think they would allow me to post the codes here.
